A sticky bonus stays in your account permanently as bonus credit. You can use it to bet, but the bonus amount itself is never withdrawable. Only winnings produced from playing through the wagering requirement can be cashed out, and the sticky bonus value is deducted from your balance at the point of withdrawal.
Sticky bonuses sit on the more restrictive end of the bonus spectrum. They are harder to evaluate than cashable equivalents because the headline value overstates what you can realistically take home. Compare them carefully against non-sticky offers with similar wagering requirements before claiming.
The opposite is a 'cashable bonus' — once the wagering requirement is met, both the bonus value and any winnings become real money.
Example usage
- £50 sticky bonus, win £200 — withdraw £150, the £50 sticky is removed
