Unibet no longer operates in Ontario
Unibet's Ontario casino and sportsbook closed on March 26, 2024. The Ontario site, on.unibet.ca, states that the platform "has been permanently closed", and Unibet does not appear in iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated gaming sites, which listed 49 operators running 84 sites on September 1, 2026.
Unibet is not listed in the Alberta iGaming Corporation's directory of registered iGaming sites either (checked September 23, 2026), so it is not licensed in either Canadian province that allows private operators. Checking takes a minute: iGaming Ontario lists every regulated casino, poker and sportsbook site by name, and Alberta's directory does the same for registered sites.
Our earlier review presented Unibet as an AGCO-licensed option for Ontario players. That was wrong: the Ontario site had closed more than two years before the review was published. We apologise for the error. We have corrected this page and removed Unibet from our rankings.
