Ontario is rolling out a centralized self-exclusion programme that will let players opt out of every licensed online gambling platform through a single registration, with launch expected in mid-2026.

One registration, all operators

Today, self-exclusion is handled operator by operator, so a player has to repeat the process at each site. The centralized programme changes that: one registration suspends every AGCO-licensed account at once.

The AGCO has updated its standards ahead of the launch, and operators are integrating with the new system.

How to get support now

Players who need help before the programme launches can self-exclude at each operator and contact ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600 for free, confidential support. The Responsible Gambling Council and PlaySmart also offer tools and guidance.
